Plaza Elena House Development- Caguas

Plaza Elena Housing (PEH), is located in front of the Escuela Libre de Música and Colegio Notre Dame. PEH was built in the early 80s and is now upgraded to 21st-century building standards while maintaining its economic feasibility for the apartment rental community.

The development team invested in the modernization of the existing 127 units.

ARCUX was awarded to conduct the development management, including design, construction, and final turnover, with a development budget of over $18MM. The project was developed under the Department of Housing and the LIHTC funding. The project included compliance with HUD, Federal, state, and local laws, rules, regulations, requirements, and ordinances, including The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Uniform Federal Accessibility Act (FHA), and the standards of Standards (UFAS). ‍ Relevant to this RFP · Development under provisions of Section 8 · Federal Funding Project Management
